Thanks to Samantha we may be getting some much needed answers. I'm very seriously investigating Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). A good deal of the info I've found today points to my daughter. I just ordered a book about it and I'm hoping it helps make things much clearer. At this point I'm relieved to think this isn't all in our heads or a complete break down in parenting skills.
I really believe Samantha's comment on my post about The Incredibles was an answer to prayers. It seems there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Even if this isn't what we are dealing with with BabyGirl, at least we have a direction to look in. Please keep praying.

I'm glad that you are getting down to the nitty gritty.
hey, sorry I haven't been around for a little bit so I'm just now getting caught up on what all is going on. But if it helps, my oldest neice has SPD as well, and as I was catching up on your blog I was thinking of actually mentioning it. But I'm glad to see someone else has. You know my sister from way back when at church. I can give you here email address if you want to get more first-hand parent type discussion.
Prayers being sent your way...
Just having a jumping off point and a potential diagnosis of the problem can be SUCH a relief! It means you are not alone and there is going to be help.
