I really should be folding laundry. I really should be washing dishes. I really should be getting my house in order for the influx of furniture that will be arriving this weekend (I'm inheriting some pieces from Grandma & Grandpa M&M's house).
Instead I've been watching reruns of Glee on my DVR. Recently I've moved on to videos on CMT. But I think this is important. You see, BabyGirl, at some time totally unknown to me, watched every country video ever made. At least that's what I presume. Every time we're in the van with the radio blaring, she informs me, "I've seen this video. It's really ________ (insert 9 year old's current adjective of choice)." Then she proceeds to tell me all about it.
The problem is, I rarely watch CMT, so I have no clue when she's done this or what it is she's actually seen. She loves the song Lover, Lover by Jerrod Niemann. "In the video he's leaving his wife and their three kids." WHAT? I was not happy about that. Turns out, she really didn't get the video at all. In the video he's given the contents of their home to the neighborhood kids and then he leaves her....the kids in the video are not theirs.
So this isn't truly procrastination. It's research.
