That one jar did not seal. There was a chip in the rim of the jar. We had it for lunch today with great success. Good thing since this is our first picking of green beans for the summer!

Bitsy's hanging out in the laundry basket next to the computer jabbering at me & stealing the mouse pad. She's been very busy today...showing me her belly, loving on her baby, climbing up and down the furniture, & dancing. I'm wondering if she's not attempting to give up her second nap of the day. I'm not ready for a one-nap-a-day baby. Not at all.

Husband has been summoned for jury duty. That could prove interesting as he's of the "lock 'em up and throw away the key" variety.

BabyGirl's sporting her glasses right now. She's hardly worn them this summer, so I'm wondering how long she'll leave them on her face. #1 Son & I have to have our eyes checked next week. I keep having visions of my boy in Buddy Holly glasses.

It's hot. Darn hot. Too hot to take the kids out to play at the moment. I'm hoping it cools a bit before it's too late to play. At the moment they're playing out side in the morning while their dad does chores & in the evening just before dinner. Since they're dirt magnets and have sensitive skin so chlorine from the pool must be washed off, that means two baths a day. The towels are piling up. If you don't hear from us for a few days, someone call the search & rescue dogs to come dig us out from under Mt.Laundry.
