We're a walking Good Will

Is there some kind of instinctual mechanism that tells small children that their parents aren't feeling well so they are free to demolish the house? Really? Everytime I feel even slightly under the weather, they dump out everything they own. EVERYTHING. It's not a pretty thing...ill mother, big mess, wild children.

I don't think I'm really sick, I just don't feel well at the moment. Tired. Too many sweets. Tacos. And I'm completely overwhelmed by the thought of the mass of clothing I have to rearrange and sort out this weekend. New clothes from Art, summer stuff to stash away, too small clothes to pass down or pack up. I need a family closet the size of your average bedroom. That would be heavenly.

Until then, I'll dig & fight & cram & store. Oh well. Such is life with 4 small children.

it's a conspiracy theory isn't it? All kids do this. I swear. Good luck on the clothing tackle.

Best of luck on getting things sorted. At least you get to have one of them out for school during the day...but you're right...they seem to just KNOW when its the worst possible time to wreak havoc...
