When I was little, my mother read to me incessantly. Until recently I'd forgotten some of the best books QM read to me. Arch books are how I learned about Josiah, Deborah, Jonathan & David, The Pearl of Great Price, and many many more stories from the Bible. Recently I wondered how my children didn't know many of the stories I was familiar with at their age. We read their story Bible regularly, but many of these stories were over looked.
A week or so ago, Inkling mentioned reading these same books to her little guy. I called QM and asked if I could bring mine home after we visited. We now have 60 Arch books to read together. So far we've read 2 a night & the kids are fascinated by them.
I'm feeling much better today. I think something I ate disagreed with me because my crumminess was short lived. BabyGirl on the other hand is ill. Fever, head ache, tired. I hope it doesn't get worse or spread to the other kids!

Yeah books!!!! Mr. C.A. has been cranky with a slight fever. I hope it's not a virus.

Praying that Baby Girl doesn't get the rest of the brood sick!
I remember those books from my kid years! I wonder if Mom still as any of them! I go check ebay too!!
my kids love those kinds of books, they love to hear stories about the people they were named after then they argue about whose person was cooler/more important!
