My life has been changed!

At 5:30 in the morning, with your Toradol wearing off and the CNA's consistently waking you to check your vitals sleep becomes a thing only wished for in the hospital.  Suddenly the television becomes your BFF.  Unfortunately the only things on at 5:30 in the morning are infomercials.

That is where I found myself Wednesday morning.  Since I was fortunate enough to have a private room I had the option of watching TV instead of laying in a semi-dark room waiting for someone to come give me pain meds in my IV.

In the course of 20 minutes I was told my life would be changed by a Brazilian Butt Lift workout video, a gel nail color, a new pillow, some kind of kitchen gadget, and a money management program.

Silly me was too busy being thankful I live in a country where health care is readily available and that we have insurance to pay for the emergency surgery I had just been through.  Next time I'll pay more attention to my nails.

I am so glad you're feeling back to normal-ish...

Been praying...

PS - if you wanted to lose weight, you could have just cut out the Doritos, you know...you didn't HAVE to do this whole vomit-surgery-hospital thing... ;)

So wishing I was near enough to take care of you and the 'Hands!
