Feeling cliche

I'm still here. I may get back to blogging more after this weekend. It's a busy weekend. Thanks for checking in. I appreciate it.

Yesterday was my doctor's appointment. After a long conversation we decided I'd go back on Prozac & see how that works. Adjustments may need to be made. Lab work may need to be done. I need to get out of the house more often & have "mommy time." I'm happy with my new doctor & happy with the start we've made.

I do feel rather cliche being the depressed housewife....

Praying that these small things are all that are needed!!!!! It is no fun being tied down to drugs and therapy...

PS - maybe FarmBoy can provide some morning Mommy Time for you once a week - that way, you get to do something for you, and he gets a bit of time with the littler ones? he can take them someplace for special time and you can have some quiet time at home, OR, you can go do something for you out - I know it's hard to imagine, but once the kids are all in school, it'll be much easier!!!

Cliche is good. It's what life is all about. You'll get through this because you are a good person and a great mother and because we are all praying for you. Keep smiling...

I have done the prozac route and it was a life saver..When hubby and I got married 6 years ago, he still had 2 boys at home who were not happy about moving to a new town or having a step mom...it was a horrible battle..and prozac was a huge help...now all that is past and I am off the prozac...my point is, do what is needed for you now..work on the little things that will make you better..Mom's always need some time to themselves for something..a 30 minute nap, 30 minutes of listening to music, 30 minutes of something, everyday!! and once a week, go somewhere...the park, the liabrary..anywhere that you can do what is needed for you..hang in there..God loves you and we are all praying for you! You are an amazing Mother, wife, and most of all, an amazing person!!

The reason it is cliche is because it happens so often. Sorry if that makes you feel unoriginal but at least your in with a great crowd. Have a happy halloween and don't stress about it!

Yes, maybe you are depressed, but are you desperate? =) I guess I'll know if I see you at Thanksgiving, and you've gotten a boob job, are wearing low cut dresses for casual playdates, are wearing copious amounts of eye make-up at 8:30 in the morning, and are secretly having an affair with the next door neighbor. (The thought makes me go ewwww by the way.)

And now for anyone not related to me who is reading this comment and is a church goer, please know that this comment is a humorous and tongue in cheek attempt to make my cousin laugh. I am in no way suggesting this reflects her true character at.all. But even if it did, you really shouldn't love her any less. =)
