My lovely British friend Sarah tagged me yesterday....and I'm all about the Meme (say what you will, they entertain me. Perhaps I'm too easily entertained). So with no further ado, The Questions:
What is your current obsession?
In case I haven't mentioned it in a few posts, The Twilight Saga.
What is your weirdest obsession?
Hmmm. That's a tough one. Possibly my desire to make jelly out of botanicals? I've made violet jelly & rose jelly so far, but the sight of anything that blooms leaves me wondering if, #1, the bloom is edible & ,#2, if it would make good jelly.
What are you wearing today?
My favorite straight legged Earl Jeans (a pair my Sister picked up on clearance), and a light blue & white striped, sleeveless Izod polo...makes me feel a bit soccer mom.
What's for dinner?
Haven't thought that far ahead yet. Since I went to the grocery yesterday, there are numerous possibilities.
What would you eat for your last meal?
My Daddy's grilled chicken.
What's the last thing you bought?
Groceries, Fiddler on the Roof DVD, and other household items @ Wal-Mart yesterday.
What are you listening to right now?
Bitsy talking to her pop beads & Meet The Robinsons that the older kids are watching....and a few birds hanging out in the woods behind the house (windows are all open).
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Anything coffee flavored. I can't find my fav right now: Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch...but Wendy's new Coffee Toffee Twisted Frosty really fits the bill. Too bad there's not a Wendy's within 20 miles of me!
What do you think of the person who tagged you?
I think she's a wonderful person! Kind, thoughtful, funny, and a wonderful mother & wife.
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be?
Probably next door to my mom & dad.
If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
My parents' house...or the carpet store where Art works so we could just hang & laugh for a while...or Canada so I could love on Inkling & Grasshopper for a bit....why only 1 hour?! This is so unfair!
Which language do you want to learn?
I would love to be able to speak French...but I failed pathetically at it in high school. Could have something to do with the teacher's horrible southern accent...or the fact that I just don't get languages.
What's your favorite quote (for now)?
"If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger: I should not seem a part of it." -Wuthering Heights
What is your favorite color?
I don't know that I have a favorite. I love greens & blues...but I also love purples, reds, and pinks. Not too keen on yellows & oranges though.
What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own wardrobe?
a pink shirt I got for my birthday
What is your dream job?
I'm doing the only thing I ever really wanted to do. Stay home with my kids.
What is your worst habit?
Probably chattering.
If you had £100 now, what would you spend it on?
I don't know the exchange rate, but probably books & movies & music...or clothes.
Do you admire any one's style?
My sister. She's much braver than I am fashionwise.
Describe your personal style?
Um....clearance & hand-me-downs don't really make up a personal style. I stick with pretty casual clothes.
What are you going to do after this?
Scrub my bathroom & wait for Bubba & Beck to get here!!
What are your favorite movies?
Pride & Prejudice, Gone With the Wind, The Princess Bride, Breakfast Club....for the full list, you might want to click on the About Me link in my side bar. It's rather extensive.
What is your favorite fruit?
I love fruit! Mango is very high on the list.
What inspires you?
good honest people who dare to live the way we all should (I'm not changing Sarah's answer on this one because I agree), my kids, my husband, my parents, & family & friends.
Your favorite book?
Again, easier if you click the About Me link. It's as long as the movie list!
Do you collect something?
Elephants
What is your favorite smell?
A baby fresh from the bath, lotioned, and dressed in a sleeper washed in Dreft.
What is your fave HGTV show?
I haven't watched it in quite a while, but I loved If Wall Could Talk.
I'm not going to tag anyone, but if you decide to do this, please let me know so I'll be sure to check out you answers!!
