- Two loads of dishes in the dishwasher
- One light, empty wash in the dishwasher with vinegar & baking soda to clean it out
- No less than 4 loads of laundry washed
- No less than 8 loads of laundry folded
- The girls' beds stripped & sheets washed
- Bitsy's old, crappy toddler bed mattress swapped out with the good mattress from the crib
- The living room vacuumed
- Toys picked up & put away
So I was not completely useless all day yesterday. No, I never did get dressed, but I have a theory. Days when I don't leave the house & no one is coming here, getting dressed only adds to the pile of laundry I already battle on a daily basis. By staying in my PJ's all day, I'm going green. Besides, my husband truly couldn't care less if I get dolled up for him. He never notices.
I also finished reading Ellen Foster & started The Mermaid Chair. I had read Ellen Foster years ago (maybe when BabyGirl was tiny, or when I was pregnant with her?), but couldn't remember anything about it until 2/3 of the way through. I would have never picked up The Mermaid Chair for myself, but since Art brought it, figured I'd give it a go. So far, I'm really digging it. I haven't been able to really get into a book in so long, it's really nice to get lost in two in a row. Maybe this will kick start my reading again & my brain can quit rotting away on Netflix.
#1 Son woke up with a high fever & pain in his ears last night. I'm calling the doctor in 26 minutes to see if they can get him in. I'm a tad worried as nothing is draining out of his tubes. I hope they aren't blocked.
I got an email from Inkling's mom this morning. Inkling had her surgery. Henry David was told she'll have pain for 2 weeks but should be fully recovered in 6 (please, Lord, let her be fully recovered!). She's on narcotics for pain, so she'll have to pump & dump when she takes them. With Grasshopper's tummy troubles formula is not generally his friend. Henry David has to take care of both of them, but really needs to get back to work. Please pray for them. They need some serious help!

Wow you got a ton done! Good for you! I have Pj days as well though my hubby does notice LOL He actually gets giddy (like a young kid in a toy store) if he comes home and look nice have my hair done and makeup on.
Best wishes toy your friend and her lil grasshopper. I know it must pain her to have to pump and dump. I hope her recovery is very quick, and that she needs the pain meds for a very short time so that she feels better and her lil guy can have mommas milk back.
Thanks for the update on inkling.
I've got to work on getting things done... I have the staying in pj's part down pat. ;)
I'm glad you didn't start putting down roots from your rump to the couch!
OK...just for the rest of you out there, I was TOTALLY giving Farmie a hard time...and contrary to her accolades to me recently, I am SO not Martha Stewart all the time...wait, do I want to be Martha what with her conviction and all? Hmmmm...
Seriously...I'm glad to know you did get some things accomplished, and am proud that you did them, knowing you didn't want to!
Praying to #1, and Inkling and her family...
Lots of hugs, and keep us posted!
You are a workaholic! What happened to the me day?
