First off, I have not cut my hair yet.... I have not decided what to do with it. Initially I planned on growing it out until next spring at least, but I'm not sure it will get much longer. At anyrate, I'm still undecided. If I do cut it, I may have to keep it a secret or Inkling will melt down & Boomer will stop talking to me all together! There's nothing like being threatened in your blog comments!! ;)
On to my new dilemma. OK, so this isn't so much my dilemma, as it is a concern. There's this hurricane- Felix, and Felix is making a bee line for Central America through the Caribbean. Any other time I'd think, that's horrible and I hope the people who live there will be safe & can recover from this disaster quickly (a very self centered world view, I admit). This time the hurricane is hitting a little closer to home.
Yesterday at 4 o'clock, QM, Daddy, and Grandma & Grandpa M&M headed out of port on a cruise to the Caribbean with stops in Central America and the Grand Caymans. I have to say, the new info on Felix has left me feeling a little less than stellar about them going on this cruise. Now I just have to trust the cruise company to make the right decisions and the Good Lord to keep them safe (and keep QM from being sea sick the entire trip).
I'm off to email them and wait to see if Daddy will check his emails from his phone!

PS Don't cut your hair - why is that a new mum thing? Happens all the time, doesn't it? I reckon short hair makes most people look older.
They are in my prayers as well. Keep in mind that these cruise lines are so very, very good at this sort of stuff, they are prepared, know when to re-route etc. I am certain they are safe and sound.
I hope all will be well. I am sure the cruise company will steer well clear of trouble so don't worry. Sarah
