The drama continues

I was re-reading Trent Stamp's Take on Locks of Love yesterday when I decided I should check out what else he had written on the subject. I clicked on the Locks of Love label at the bottom of his post and discovered the story was far from over.

Madonna Coffman (the the LOL president) claims that the NY Times has lied in their article and are out to get her organization. She even claims the journalist called her in tears and apologized for what her article had done to the LOL organization.

I have to say, the entire thing has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Who can you trust? Do you believe a leading newspaper with a professional responsibility to report the truth, or do you trust one of the leading children's charities in the nation? Or do you just ignore it all and keep the hair firmly attached to your head?

Do you believe a leading newspaper with a professional responsibility to report the truth....

i've got 6 months growth on my goat-tee.

let's make a deal,
let's both wait till the end of the year and then you cut your hair and i'll cut my goat-tee.

i can mail it to you so you can mail it to LOL or LMAO at the same time with yours.

i'm sure there is a bearded lady that needs some winter warmth somewhere.

hey squirt, you haven't commented any of my blogs and you are the culprit responsible for getting me on this blognation releasing my creative sickness onto innocent bystanders.

I had to laugh at the whole idea of newspapers reporting the truth, too. In a perfect world, they might.

It sounds like you just aren't quite ready to part with your beautiful tresses yet, and that's ok. Especially with winter coming, it will be added warmth. With my face shape, I feel like I look better even with messy shorter hair than long hair pulled back into a ponytail. The 8 inches I had chopped off didn't go to charity, and getting rid of them also got rid of my headaches without medication.

I had to laugh at the idea of a media source reporting truth, let alone reporting unbiased...

That being said...can you contact the children's hospital in the not-so-nearest major metropolis to the north and see what their oncology department has to say? After all, aren't they the ones who help families connect with said charities? I also think, that since that particular location has a LARGE cancer treatment center, they might know who to turn to...

And without knowing ol' Slap Shot, I still have to say EWWWWWW...and just how would you mail 6 mos growth of hair???? *shudder*
