VBS was this week. BabyGirl learned lots of songs. She likes to sing them loudly and constantly. Her favorite is Our God is an Awesome God. B.B. is learning them from his sister.
In Wal-Mart on Friday (the trip to town from Hades) she was belting Awesome God out as we cruised the frozen food section. B.B. joined her singing the only part of the song he knows...over and over and over. "Our God is an Awesome God! Our God is an Awesome God! Our God is an Awesome God!"
That night at VBS closing ceremonies I was telling this story to Husband's Aunts & cousins. One of them said, "What a wonderful witness!" Yes, until B.B. began improvising lyrics. Apparently he decided there wasn't enough 'Umph' in the song so he added a word...his current favorite word...one he isn't allowed to use. "Our God is an Awesome Poop God!"
I stopped his performance before the Avenging Angels descended to smite him. Thank the Lord for His grace and mercy!
