When I was in the hospital (Oh, the wonderful, peaceful, restful hospital) my night nurse asked what our kids names were. Husband told her & she loved them. All of our kids have Biblical first names & family middle names. She seemed almost relieved to hear them. I said, "You must really hear some doozies working in a maternity ward." Her response:
~ Oh yeah. We had a family in here once that named their baby girl Ashada. The problem? Their last name was Hooker. We asked if they'd ever said the two names together & tried to talk them out of it, but they wouldn't listen. That's the worst one I've heard by far....yet.
I'm seriously thinking about selling my two oldest children. They've done nothing but fight and bicker and argue and back talk and hit and pinch and slap and scream for 3 days. I HAVE HAD IT!!! You'd think they could read the signs...they're pretty obvious....especially when one of them is me in their faces, pointing and yelling, "I HAVE HAS IT!!!" But no. Somehow this escapes them. Thank the good Lord above Husband has taken them outside to play. They've spent the biggest part of the last week outside. I am very thankful for that....otherwise I'd be blogging from the home for the mentally unstable.
Oh, and BabyGirl was supposed to clean her room 3 days ago. Her dad went in to help her so they could go out & play today (she was on lock-down until it was clean) and then they headed out. I just went in there & is it clean? Not by a long shot. No way, no how. Grrrr....
Busha had her knee replaced on Tuesday. I just talked to Daddy. He, Mama, Uncle Gick & Bucka were on their way up to see her. She's doing pretty good from what I've heard. I haven't talked to her....I figure she's sleeping as much as she can between therapy sessions. I think she may come home tomorrow. That was the plan originally. Maybe I'll tell her to stay....she might regret coming home. But then I doubt Bucka & Mitzi (their 2 1/2 lb. poodle) won't fight as much as my kids do.

The worst name I ever heard came out of a medical book...Ovary. But I think the Ashada Hooker tops that.
:) I just came across an old comment you left me! After your internet connection had issues and you were not posting, I must have removed you from my links...anyway- I am pleasantly pleased to have read your last few posts! It is WAY LATE here and I have to sleep, my new baby will be up in 4 hours or so to eat! Congrats and I hope to hear from you! Mandy~
