8 Random Facts About Me:

1. I bit my fingernails until I was 20 years old. I quit because I worked in a factory. Now I get pretty obsessive about them when they start to grow. If they start breaking, I have to cut them all off short. They're short now.
2. I played the part of Emily in the play Our Town when I was 18. I had to kiss my best friend's boyfriend. We couldn't stop laughing. Did was the director (it was her boyfriend), and Zann was the assistant director. When Did went on vacation during rehersals, I think we drove Zann batty.
3. I love to plant flowers (especially bulbs) and wait for the blooms, but I HATE weeding. My flowerbeds are a mess.
4. I love 90's Grunge Rock. Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Jane's Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Alice In Chains, anything like it.
5. I don't have a southern accent anymore...unless I go home to visit. Then I pick it right back up. I didn't really have one until I started waiting tables at a steak house in Tennessee. That's where I learned to say Ya'll on a regular basis.
6. I put sweet corn on my mashed potatoes. Uncle Greenteeth taught me that trick. I'd rather have sweet corn than gravy most of the time. And incidentally, I hate canned corn. Only fresh or frozen for me.
7. I hate melons. All kinds. Can't stand them. I also cannot eat beans of any kind (except green beans, but then they're a whole different breed). They make me gag.
8. When I was 3 I wanted to marry my Bucka. The longer I'm married to Husband, the more he reminds me of Bucka...so I guess I got my wish.
