Another update on STM & her new baby:
STM's Mom just called. STM has had a horrible day yesterday. Her pulse rate went up over 130, and the residents thought she had blood clots in her legs or was bleeding internally. PTL (Praise the Lord)!!! All of those things turned out negative, and after the radiologist read her lung CT scan, there were no blood clots in her lungs. Her blood count was low, but is on the rise again, and her Pulse is back down to 96, which is still high. Her mom is asking all to pray about that. Baby was allowed to nurse for the first time yesterday, and she is doing GREAT with that. They are moving STM to the OB floor today, so Baby can stay with her. Looks like they might actually get to go home by Friday. Baby is slightly jaundiced, so that will have to be watched.
