My So Called Life

  1. If I know you in the real world, or you are a virtual friend I've emailed in the past, can you please drop me a quick email? All my addresses were lost when the old computer crashed.
  2. I posted a kid craft on Nudge-Nudge last night. QM, stay away from it this week. You'll see what we made this weekend...while I'm at it, Pa, you stay away too.
  3. Thank you all so very much for your efforts on our part in the computer department. That so many people would try to get us a new computer is absolutely amazing to me! I am so very blessed by my friends and family both real and virtual.
  4. If you hear a small voice scream, "You're going down, man! You're going down!" Look out. B.B. is on the attack. He's watched way too much UFC and Rocky Balboa this weekend.
  5. How early is too early to eat apple crisp?
  6. The boys and I are preparing to travel to TN this weekend to visit QM and Pa and attend Did's wedding. Please pray for a safe and peaceful trip.
  7. In the meantime, BabyGirl is spending the night with Uncle E and Aunt C and their family. She is massively excited. Then she's spending the entire weekend alone with her dad. They're going to do special things...just them...possibly a movie and swimming. This will be my first trip without one of the kids (with the exception of hospital trips to deliver babies).
  8. I have an ultrasound on the 25th of this month. Hopefully it will be another uneventful scan...and Bitsy will cooperate...and will still be a girl. We could have some serious explaining to do!!
  9. Two days left of Spring Break. So far we've survived.
  10. Naked time is only two little boys fresh out of the bath, flailing their arms around over their heads, screaming, "Naked time! Naked time!"...until Daddy joins the fun. Then it's just wrong!
  11. As long as you're only 2, threatening to throw up is funny. Every time. "Mommy, I need some tandy or I'm dunna' frow up on dis fwoor." "I wanna' popsicle or I'm dunna' frow up." "I tan't go a bed. It make me frow up." We're entering our second week of said threat. Saturday I took a chance and said, "OK, throw up then 'cause you aren't getting candy. It's 9 at night," to which he replied, "I tan't frow up, Mommy! I haffa have some tandy or I'm gonna' frow up!"
  12. If you are wondering about the weather, QM calls this Dogwood winter. It's a blast of winter after the dogwoods have bloomed. We had snow flurries all day Friday and a few on Saturday.
  13. Scroll all the way down and check out the pregnancy ticker at the bottom of the page. Funny!

It's never too early for apple crisp.

Apples are fruit. Fruit is good for breakfast. The dough is made of flour. Flour was originally a grain. Grains are good for breakfast. Plus there's oatmeal in the topping. Oats are good for breakfast. So yes, Apple crisp is good at any time of the day. Just like rice krispy treats.

As for the naked time, the mental picture that I got of two cute little boys was okay, but the one hairy gorilla was just too strange. I may need counseling.
