When I was facing loosing my Internet connection last spring, my parents told me they believed what I had here was a ministry. At the time I thought it was a nice thought, but wasn't so sure it really fit the category. I mean, yeah, occasionally I'll post about my faith, but mostly this was a good way to keep in touch with family and friends, send some of our adventures out into cyberspace, and keep a SAHM from loosing all touch with reality.
Now I'm fully understanding that my blog can serve in that capacity. I've been reading updates of your blogs on my feed this morning and I am so touched by your outpouring of love and concern for Grace and her family. I know that there are far more people keeping her and her family in their prayers and thoughts than there ever would have been if not for this group of blogs. And boy do they need it!!! (If you don't know Grace or haven't kept up with her blog this week, please click on Random Grace in my side bar. She is recovering from surgery and that is only the half of it.)
The same goes for Ang/This Mom and her son's health issues. I can only imagine what she's dealt with the past 6 weeks or so. It's a great comfort to know that she can let us all know specifically what to pray for and for her to know that we're doing just that.
We've prayed for Inkling and Henry David as they've gone through trials. We're praying for Temera as she currently has viral pneumonia. You've all prayed for me through this pregnancy and for my kids when we've been ill and they're facing minor surgery. We all prayed for Lauren when she lost her precious baby. We prayed for STM while she recovered from major surgery and for the angel she's carrying. For Art and her brood. For Cate/Nan's family. For Ragged and Cynical.
The list can go on and on. I just want to say that I feel so very blessed to know that I have the support of a wonderful group of friends when I need them and that I can be a support when needed. I may never meet some of you in the real world, but it doesn't change how important you are to me. It's nice to know that there is literally a world of people out there who will lift us up when needed.
God bless you all and please keep praying.

I'm praying for you and beautiful hands and creativity to finish the dress, and love it. I'm praying for your kids. I can so remember having to go to the dr. every other week with my older two..Drove me nuts when the daycare called all the time to come get them they were running fevers from ear infections or teething.

This is a beautiful post Farm wife. You are a lovely person and you have always been there for me when I was down. I know that we won't ever meet and our lives are thousands of miles apart, but I always feel a spark of happiness when you visit me or leave a note. I don't have a faith any more, but I am touched by you and yours. S
