There's a better picture of my fabric...still not great, but better.
When we got home yesterday we discovered that Husband had been hard at work on the club house/fort. He finished off the roof today, and only has one more side to put on. He's leaving them low so the kids can see out and light and air can get in. The back is going to stay open to the goat pen so the kids can visit with Timmy, Cosmo, and Otis. I told Husband Pa Ingalls would be proud. The side posts are old telephone poles and the roof and sides are saplings he cleaned out of the woods.
The trip to the hospital yesterday was very informative. I delivered the other 3 kids at the same small hospital. It had 2 Labor and Delivery rooms, and 4 postpardom rooms. There were never more than 3 babies in the nursery, and most of the time, we had the entire maternity ward to ourselves. With BabyGirl she and I each had our own nurse the whole time we were there. I had the same nurse in delivery with all 3 kids. Come time for B.B. to be born, the nurses were calling my doctor to get him to schedule my C-section while they were on duty. But like many small hospitals in the area, they no longer deliver babies.
Instead I'm going to the women's hospital in the Big Town. 2 nurseries, a NICU, lots and lots of LDRP rooms (Labor, delivery, recovery, & postpardom rooms), room service for the new mothers, showers in the rooms (the little hospital only had 2 on the ward and one was in a labor room), a separate entrance for in coming moms, lock down security if baby goes missing, hand scanners to get into the nurseries, and flat panel TVs with DVD players in all the rooms. This could be interesting...I may never want to leave the hospital.
#1 Son spent a good deal of his day helping his dad build the club house. It's a wonder anything got done. We all took a quick trip over to Big BIL's house to see their new calf on the four wheeler. #1 Son had the seat all warmed up for us before we left. He may spend all summer setting on it while it's parked in the yard.
It's 83 outside right now. It was 34 when Mama and I left for our adventure yesterday. Talk about drastic! I'm trying to decided if I should pack away the winter coats or not...today I broke out my shorts, a maternity tank, and flip-flops! It's only March!!!
I think I need a nap...but there are 3 little people that need to go out to play.

fun, fun, fun!!! Sounds like your hospital visit will be much more relaxing. Our volume on our tv didn't work at WMC. Nobody could figure out how to fix it. And the phlebotomist who had to stick my arm did it worse than anyone has before or since. If Tech Mom had been there, I would have had her put in my IV's. The rest of the stay was decent, as far as hospital stays go.
83 degrees out..Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? HOLY CROW!! 83 degrees out..OH MAN!!!!Well enjoy your warm weather and cool ice tea or lemonade.
