I spoke with The Queen Mother just before bed time last night and she updated me on STM. She and Baby came through the surgery well. They had to remove her ovary along with a grapefruit sized tumor. The doctor thinks he got everything, but he also said he'd never seen anything like it. She now has to wait 10 days to 2 weeks for the pathology reports.
I am praying that the tumor was fully contained and no further action will be needed. Otherwise they will be discussing how long they can let her carry the baby before she will have to deliver for treatment. That is not a discussion I want STM to have to have.
I haven't heard how long STM will be in the hospital, but as it's quite a way from home, I'm hoping not long.
And I got an email from Kork last night. First of all, Drew will be one in June not two as I said before. He is doing very well and responding to his treatment. As part of his therapy included high doses of Aspirin they have been in near total seclusion to prevent accidental exposure to the flu or chicken pox which could cause sever complications.
On Feb. 16th, Drew goes to see an Infectious Disease Specialist and a Cardiologist for blood work and an EKG to check the murmur in his heart.
Thank you so much for praying for these people most of you don't even know. I know they appreciate it even more than I do.

Farmie, I so appreciate your keeping us posted on everyone. I thought about what STM was going though off and on all day yesterday and tried to pray for her everytime I thought of her. I asked my sis and her Christian Weight Loss group to pray for her as well. I hope you will continue to let us know how she's doing. Thanks so much. Cate
