I think I crashed out on the couch for nearly 2 hours while the kids played Memory on the floor, B.B. napped on the floor (bad mommy that I am, I didn't move him...you know the sleeping dogs thing), and they watched Spongebob. It wasn't uninterrupted, but it was needed and loved.
#1 Son has pink eye. I took him to the doctor at 10 this morning. He has no other problems (like his sister's sore throat or ear infection), and his eye isn't as red, but he's on eye drops as well. If you think of it, please pray for us tonight. I have to administer eye drops to 2 kids who aren't happy about it. BabyGirl allows it, very unwillingly. #1 Son must be sat upon and have his eye lid pried open with a crowbar.
Oh, and Doc said they need the drops for 7 days, not the 3 prescribed by the ER doctor. UGH! But I am armed with a 2 pound bag of M&M's to bribe with and after each set of drops, they get to put a sticker on their charts. At the end of the treatment, everyone who's filled in their chart gets to pick a toy or movie from Wal-Mart (within reason...no Powerwheels or the entire second season of The Simpsons...not that they watch that anyway). Call it bribery, call it manipulation, I call it getting the job done!
BabyGirl has decided she wants to play Candyland. As the house is a mess and I am exhausted, she has enlisted her brothers to help her clean in hopes that I'll get the game out. Our Candyland is probably 25 years old as it belonged Husband and his siblings. We've played it once in 3 years & I'm sure she does not remember. She saw the game yesterday in Wal-Mart and has been obsessing over it. They've just finished cleaning their rooms while chanting, "What's gonna' work? Team Work!" Thank you Wonder Pets! I can't wait to go see their version of clean.
Although I'm pretty sure #1 Son thinks Candyland invloves candy...I'm trying to convince him other wise, but not sure I'm getting anywhere.
"The right choice is not to kill him, right Mom?" BabyGirl's watching The Emperor's New Groove. BTW, Doc said we'd need to wait 5 weeks for BabyGirl's infection to clear before going to see the E.N.&T. doc about tubes. And thanks, Ang, for link. I wore those ear plugs when Husband and I first got married because he snored...I had forgotten.

I'm impressed that they are attempting to clean their rooms, even if it is to bribe mommy to let them play!
What's gonna work Team Work!! Hey they're not singing lazytown songs at the moment so that's good. HA HA..
Glad the link could help. (I HOPE)
Sooooooo Glad you were able to take a nap. I've been praying for you today that it would go easier on you.
Love and Hugs
