Exciting News!!!

We've just settled down after church...I've eaten my bacon & mayo on honey wheat with a side of broccoli, cauliflower, and ranch dressing. Yum. Husband has taken the boys and Bonpas to visit his cousins for a minute. I'm getting ready to run the sweeper & load the dishwasher. Fun.

My reason for posting when I should be doing my chores? Baby Girl is going to have a solo in the church Christmas pageant!!! My Baby Girl!!! And #1 Son has the only speaking part!!! This is all very exciting for a former drama geek mother.

Until today I didn't even know there was going to be a Christmas pageant. The big kids have grown out of it, the little ones haven't quite grown into it yet. But Aunt CB has come to a good compromise. Her daughter (who's 16 and loves the stage) is going to sing Breath of Heaven, the the kids are going to sing The Friendly Beasts in costume, and then Uncle E is going to sing Strange Way to Save the World.

Before the kids sing, #1 Son will say, "This is our story." And Baby Girl will be the sheep with curly horn in The Friendly Beasts.

I, said the sheep with curly horn,
I gave him my wool for his blanket warm.
He wore my wool on Christmas morn.
I said the sheep with curly horn.

Oh man!! Now your making me miss being home for the holidays!!!

Sounds like a great Christmas pagent. Wish I could see it.

I'll be in the mountains near the 1998 Winter Olymipics
(with a bunch of icky girls :( Ha Ha! Yeah we need to get more American guys over here in Japan.)

So hopefully it will at least be a white Christmas.

Let everyone back there know that I love them and miss them.

I'm looking forward to a certain package in a few days and then that Christmas Eve eve call to all of you!
