Um, Larry?

Every year the kindergarten class goes to the closest local zoo on a field trip.  Every year there's confusion when we go see the monkeys.  Are the monkeys or are they apes?

So I sing to them.

And they love it.

Of course, there are always jokes about the tigers and zebras being monkeys, but I'm not going to stop any time soon.

If it doesn't have a tail, it's not a monkey, even if it has a monkey kind of shape.  If it doesn't have a tail it's not a monkey.  If it doesn't have a tail it's not a monkey, it's an ape.
