Words of Wisdom From an Avid Shoe-Wearer

Today is the eve of the first day of the last year of my first decade as a mother. If that's not as clear as mud, tomorrow is BabyGirl's ninth birthday. At her request, we let her open her gifts a day early giving her more of the weekend to enjoy them (and because #1 Son got to open his a day early 2 weeks ago).

One of her favorite gifts (and mine) was the movie Mr.Magorium's Wonder Emporium. If you have never seen it, go and rent it immediately. Even if you do not have children or if your children are grown. It's a beautiful movie. And in celebration, I would like to share some of my favorite quotes from M.M.W.E.

We must face tomorrow, whatever it may hold, with determination, joy and bravery.

Now we wait.
No. We Breathe. We Pulse. We Regenerate. Our hearts beat. Our minds create. Our souls ingest. Thirty-seven seconds, well used, is a lifetime.

All stories, even the ones we love, must eventually come to an end and when they do, it's only an opportunity for another story to begin.

An accountant. According to the word, it must be a cross between a counter and a mutant and that may be precisely what we need.

On "go."
It's always on "go."
Alright, on "triscadecaphobia."
