And....we're done.
Christmas shopping that is. Today we picked Bitsy's gifts (Ball, Baby, Blocks, & Book...all the important things in life), the gifts for BabyGirl & #1 Son to take for their class room gift exchanges, and new spin tooth brushes for the older FarmHands' stockings. Unless I stumble upon something small for the kids stockings next week, we're done.
Husband & I don't have any presents, but that's not unusual. Sometimes Husband goes all out & gets me a few things or one big gift, but I think with my new mixer, I'll probably be giftless this Christmas. Well, not entirely. #1 Son & BabyGirl did their shopping at school on Monday. They each had $10 to spend & orders to buy for siblings first & parents if there was any money left over. They each managed to get gifts for everyone (#1 Son even got something for himself) and bring home some pocket change.
Now if only I could convince Axl that Princess needs to drive the five hours north to help me wrap the gifts. Having a sister who's worked in a department store since she was 18 means gifts get wrapped at lightning speed & with beautiful results. When she was little & it took half a roll of wrapping paper & 15 feet of tape to wrap a shirt box. I, on the other hand, end up with 14 paper cuts, gifts half wrapped, and a wad of paper that's been miss-cut.
Now if we can make it through the 2 weeks without someone spilling the beans, we'll be cooking.
