An oldie but a goodie...or something to fill my day for NaBloPoMo while I'd rather be ensconsed in my facebook account.

If your life had a soundtrack, what would the music be?

Here’s how it works:
1. open your library (iTunes, winamp, media player, iPod, ZUNE!!)
2. put it on shuffle
3. press play
4. for every section, type the song that’s playing
5. next section — press the next button
6. don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool

opening credits:
Butterfly (Weezer)

waking up:
Raggedy Ann (Mindy Smith)

first day at school:
Morning Breaks (Romeo + Juliet Soundtrack)

falling in love:
Worthy is the Lamb (Handel's Messiah)

breaking up:
She Loves You (The Beatles)

prom:
Bye Bye Blackbird (Joe Cocker)

life’s okay:
Arms of a Woman (Amos Lee)

mental breakdown:
Cry Baby (Janis Joplin)

driving:
Love Changes Everything (Andrew Lloyd Webber)

flashback:
Life's What You Make It (Miley Cyrus)

getting back together:
What the World Needs Now is Love (Jackie DeShannon)

wedding:
More (Kim Hill)

birth of child:
Your Ghost (Damien Rice & Lisa Hannigan)

final battle:
Mass No. 15 for vocal soloists (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)

death scene:
Come, Now is the Time to Worship (iWorship)

end credits:
Aslan is Killed (2nd Chapter of Acts- The Roar of Love)

Well, that was interesting. Anyone want to play along?

The song for the death scene is kind of ironic, I have to say. It was written at a time when the composer was pretty down, and he recently said that if he'd written it on an "up" day, it would have said something like "Come and give your best" instead of "come just as you are". If that guy doesn't know how to die to self, then I don't know who does.

I like many of these artists, too. Damien Rice, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Handel, Weezer...
