NOOOOOOOO!

If you hear gentle weeping issuing from a small farm in the mid-west, it's only me. I am mourning my baby. You see, Miss Bitsy has taken to rocking up on her hands and knees in the past 4 days. She's started lunging her little form forward at what ever toy, dog, or sibling she wants to gnaw on. I know crawling isn't far behind. This Mother isn't ready to let her last baby grow up. If she begins crawling, she'll soon be sitting unassisted. Next comes pulling up, standing without support, then toddling. Before I know it she'll refuse to kiss me when I drop her off at school. Then she'll want to shave her legs & write her thesis. I'm not ready for her to move out yet. Can I ship her off to Never Never Land (the one where Peter Pan lives...not Michael Jackson)?

Poor Farmie! Hold in there, maybe it's just a fluke, and she'll know you want her to be your baby for a little while longer yet, and wait...

You could just ask her, lol... 'Cause once we're grown, we'd love to be babies again...
Or make another one ;-)

I don't often say LOL and mean it. But that last line there, honestly made me laugh out loud. Maybe it was the imaginary marker in my head marking out Michael Jackson, his ferriswheel and monkey bubbles and then circling Peter Pan... but whatever that imagery made me laugh...

But on another note... I'm sorry your little one is growing up. I know its hard, and I'm not making light of it... but you just have a great turn of phrase.
