I've got the furnace man blues....

Last night at 10:30 I discovered the furnace wasn't working. Oh joy. I messed with it to no avail, called Husband at work, followed his instructions to no avail, and finally lit a fire in the fire place & moved the kids to a pallet in the living room for the night. Currently B.B., Bitsy and I are hanging out at Uncle E's with RL while the house heats back up. We contacted a repair man who came out this morning & fixed the problem...a loose hose. Nothing like paying to have someone come blow in a plastic piece of hose so your house can stay over 60 degrees. Argh!!
