A few things for those of you who aren't the slightest bit interested in my Nirvana induced rant this morning.

Last night I lit a match. I held the strike on box below chest level & struck it away from me. Part of the head of the match flamed up, kicked back, and hit me on the chin. I'm now sporting a nasty little burn on my chin. It wasn't a bad burn, but the top few layers of skin peeled off & it looks pretty icky. Not good for my ego. Not good at all.

Today I was at Wal-Mart in the check out line on the verge of a nervous break down. Bitsy had been screaming, so I had to hold her while trying to re-load all my bags in the cart. (Can someone explain to me why everything that fit in the cart while I was shopping no longer fits in the cart after it's been payed for & bagged?) I dropped a can of pineapple juice that nearly smashed my foot when a couple walked by. The husband turned to me and asked if I needed a hand. I said yes, please thinking he'd pick up my pineapple juice, put it in the cart, then join his wife. Instead he finished loading all my groceries & asked where I was parked. He pushed my cart to the van & waited until I was ready to load Bitsy in her car seat before he headed back in. He offered to load up the van for me, but I could handle that. I thanked him for being so kind & he told me he'd heard a woman on the radio recently talk about how much it meant to her when someone did the same thing for her.

So, to the kind man at Wal-Mart, Thank you so very much. God bless you.

Wow! That rocks. And way to go radio people for playing that and giving that guy the idea. I am reminded of my favorite Liberty Mutual commercial

Gotta love that... especially on the heels of frustration :)

Wow. God knows how to send help when we need it.

Isn't it amazing how God gives you those little blessings that end up meaning so much exactly when you need them?

isn't it the most fun thing in the world to go to the store with a bunch of kids running around and you have to push out the buggy with a screaming child.... love it. i totally agree with you when it comes to the groceries not fitting, there have been plenty of times when i have had to push out 2 buggies with 3 kids... so embarrassing! i love that man that helped you, what a prince! kudos to him

Hey! We will be headed your direction on Wednesday. I know you probably won't be around Thursday, but I wanted to see if you were interested in the parade in Olney. We love going to the parade with your kids. Let me know if you want to go.
Have a great week!
