Doc gave me the go ahead to drive on Thursday. I decided to take it slow. Last night I drove an entire mile down the road to Uncle E's for fireworks. Bitsy slept through the entire party. We didn't all get home until 9, the kids didn't get to bed until 10, I didn't get there until 11. Late night on this farm.
Yesterday my cousin JJ & his wife R came to see us. They were down visiting Busha & Bucka & Uncle Gick & Unkie Di with JJ's son T. The brought T down so Uncle Gick could teach him to ride a bike, but forgot the bike. Uncle Gick taught all of us to ride (I remember a steep hill & the yell of, "Pedle or die, Kid!" behind me).
JJ & R came over to ohh & ahh over Bitsy. JJ finally had to tell R to give Bitsy back so they could leave....I think she'd have spirited her off if given the chance.
Today Bitsy & I ran off to Busha & Bucka's to deliver a pasta salad & visit for a bit. Busha is doing very well. She's slow, but gets around really well with her walker. She sat for a while with Bitsy & had a good visit with her new Great-grandbaby. Mitzi (the poodle) would like to kill me. She's never sure what to do with my kids. I think now she's wondering why I keep bringing new ones to her house.
I was beginning to think I'd have to send BabyGirl off to the Halleyville Ranch Boot Camp for Girls (is there an age limit, Farm Fairy?), but Unkie Di asked if she could come for a sleep over tonight. Unkie Di's nieces are down for their extended summer visit & they had all planned on camping in the barn (in the camper). BabyGirl & #1 Son both went....so it's just B.B., Bitsy, Husband, and Me tonight. Bitsy's napping, BB & Husband are mowing....I think I may take a nap.

There is no age limit...It is all about working and respect and thinking ahead. No one is cut slack..even the little ones. Ask Ang's 5 year old. We have room for another .... pop her on a plane and we'll getter done...
