More new math for today:
Napping in the recliner + no more complaints of illness from children + good mail= much less cranky FarmWife.
The package came from Brando & her brood today. Diapers (you can never have enough diapers) & an adorable little dress! Mucho thanks to Brando, Rudy, Yuri, & Yin! I love it...and the little pink pig card...too cute! I was so excited to find the package setting on the table when I woke up from my nap.
I know I promised to post pics of the new kittens a few days back, but have only managed to catch one on "film." Her name officially is Ariel (named by BabyGirl, naturally), but QM calls her Bossy Flossy. She likes to sit on the steps & yell at people. She's tiny enough that she can crawl through the chain link fence into Lilly's run so she harasses Lilly too. She is so bossy...and too little to be bossing anyone. It's rather comical. Here she is giving Andrew what for...and he's only about 3 times her size. And I love that she has a checkerboard pattern on her back.
I just finished reading Bitter is the New Black by Jen Lancaster (jennsylvania.com), and I loved it. Reading Ragged tackled it last fall (I think), but I never hunted it down. Art brought it to me this weekend & I finished it in 2 days. Loved it. I think Jen may be the Anti-Laurie Notaro...but just as funny. Her snarky attitude mirrors my own lately. Since all I can seem to do is read at this point I ma get thorough a few more books before Bitsy comes. I just started Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris. Not sure about this one yet....we'll see.

I loved Bitter is the New Black. She is supposed to be writing a sequel.
Glad you got the stuff. That was some fast mailing by the post office.
I haven't read any of David's books yet, but his essays are hysterical. Ramblin and I both laughed 'til we had tears and could barely breathe. It was a story about a boil. Really.
Don't worry to much about the kids being sick. I know mine still had the remenants of the flu when BG was born. And she never even got the slightest bit sick. Also I had the full blown flu when I had her. I was takng Tamiflu to shorten it. BUt as long as I did not have a fever they let me be induced. I was so DONE being pregnant! I did not care how sick I was I was having that baby! I even fantisized about stealing the little tool from the hospital to break my own water! LOL I was desperate to get that pregnancy over with...lol all in good time your little Bitsy will be here and your hormones will be back to normal and things will not me so worrisome. Hope you can rest while QM is there to help.
