HT's royal visit

Yesterday we got up & Husband helped me clean house (gasp) because we were pretty sure there would be company before the day was over. Turned out, Princess, Axl, & HT spent the day at our house. Bubba stayed until after lunch, then headed south (he had to work today). The kids loved having HT here to play with all day. They broke out the Peek-a-Blocks for him & he was thrilled! That boy is happy...unless he's hungry, he's happy. So good natured, laid back, social...my sister was really blessed with that boy!

We had a good visit, loved on the baby, Axl took pictures of the critters, then we all headed over to Bucka's for pizza & Custard Cup. The kids played bubbles in the back yard with their Pa & Uncle Gick, threw the Frisbee (B.B. loved that part even though he pretty much just chucked it into the ground about 3 feet in front of him every time), & caught lightning bugs.

Mama & Daddy gave #1 Son & BabyGirl their birthday presents. #1 Son had asked them for Green Eggs & Ham, and he got it. He was so excited, "GREEN EGGS & HAM, MOMMY!!! I GOT GREEN EGGS & HAM!!! READ IT NOW!!!" BabyGirl got purple Croc Mary Janes with a pink flamingo charm on them (she loves pink flamingos). Then so B.B. (who'd birthday isn't until September) wouldn't be left out, they all got their "I'm the big ____" T-shirts to wear to the hospital when Bitsy is born. They are so cute. BabyGirl wants to wear hers now, but I told her she had to wait. "But Mama, I'm a big sister now!"

Mama & Daddy also got me a pair of silver Mary Jane crocs with a pink flamingo charm to match BabyGirl's. They are too cute! And surprisingly comfortable. I have a cheap Wal-Mart pair to wear to the trash cans in the winter, and I've never been impressed with them. The actual Croc's I love.

Everyone's coming over today before heading South and I have a ham in the oven, so I guess I'd better get dressed...the day has to begin sometime.
