It's done. For the most part. Salisbury Steak didn't get made due to the impromptu trip to Wal-Mart and bathrooms had to wait until this morning as I was too worn out to bend over the tubs last night...but now it's done. BabyGirl even picked up her room willingly. This NEVER happens...and #1 Son helped her!! Who are they and what have they done with my children.
I could wash the windows, dust, scrub the hearth, take down and wash all my knick-knacks today...or I could stretch out and read. I think I may read. I do have to make that Salisbury Steak today though. My pelvis is hurting again and I don't want to push it or I may need a walker to get down the aisle at Did's wedding...wouldn't that be pretty?
I'd really like my body to realize that since I'm having a c-section, there is no need for my ligaments to loosen or my pelvis to spread. It's an exercise in futility...painful futility! Not only does this make my pelvis and hips hurt, it makes my shoulders and ribs hurt while I sleep...& makes it nearly impossible to roll over in bed without grabbing the headboard for leverage.
Yesterday morning B.B. rolled the computer chair up to the entertainment center and got down a bottle of sparkly pink nail polish...which he proceeded to dump on the carpet after painting himself. It took a quarter cup of Woolite carpet cleaner and a LOT of scrubbing, but it has faded to a small, faintly pink spot. I was not a happy mommy. Nail polish must now be kept under lock and key...it's only been about a week since he spilled a good bit on his brother's bed...also pink. QM, you might want to hide any OPI you have laying around the house before we get there.
He's still threatening to vomit on a regular basis, but has yet to follow through. And now he's threatening to throw up at totally unnecessary times. This morning he was going to puke if he didn't get a banana for breakfast. The threat was made as I was pulling the banana off the bunch to hand to him. It's really lost all shock value at this point.
Bitsy has been very busy the past week. I wonder if she's getting her last few spins in before things get too crowded for her to flip around freely. There are times I forget about her (bad mommy) and when she squirms it startles me. It's funny...when I was expecting BabyGirl, she was all I ever thought about. The world came to a stand still because I was gestating. Now I don't have time for that...nor the energy for it.
I added yet another list to my side bar. I've had folks I know in the real world ask who certain people I write about are, so I put a short cast of characters in my side bar (as though I needed another list). If someone isn't there, you might want to check the link list. They may have their own blog. Hope this clears some things up.
