Mommy, are we done with our adventure yet?

I woke up at 4 am to Husband's snoring. Retreated to the couch at 4:15. Rescued Macaroni the stuffed horse from under #1 Son's covers at 4:25. Walked B.B. back to his bed at 5:50. The alarm went off at 6:15. We were out the door at 7:25.

Dropped off the van, picked up the Chevy Cobalt loaner car, headed to IHOP, filled up on Swedish Crepes & scrambled eggs, and headed off in search of the perfect fabric for Did's wedding. After at least an hour in Jo-Ann Fabrics I walked out with the most beautiful material (a polyester that looks just like raw silk, the picture isn't great...the colors are a smoky lavender and a deep plum), stuff to make BabyGirl's St.Patrick's Day pin, a book for each kid, and a bottle of fabulous glue Q.M. assures me will permanently fuse my fingers together.

Then Mama and I took the boys to Barns & Noble's and I picked up Mansfield Park and Sense and Sensibility (now I only need Northanger Abbey to complete my J. Austen collection). A quick trip to Target yielded a bib for BabyGirl to give Bitsy that proclaims "I love my Big Sister." By this time we headed back to get the van then out to visit the hospital where Bitsy will make her Grand Entrance. The PR woman gave me a tour of the maternity ward & I feel much better having a picture in my mind of where we'll be.
As we pulled out of the hospital parking lot, #1 Son asks, "Mommy, is our adventure over yet?" I assured him it was and we headed to Busha and Bucka's house to pick up BabyGirl. Now there is laundry to fold and a house to clean up, but I'm beat so it must wait until tomorrow.
I'm off to check up on blogs and tape off the last of Daddy's film masterpieces. G'Nite!
