Good day. Good Visits. Gifts. Shopping. WIC appointment. Quoted in a National Publication. Can't tell you with whom I visited nor can I say how the gifts came to me...there may be lurkers. It's top secret...until later. I can say the gift basket was from Art...very cool...very full...very creative...very happy FarmWife!!!
As far as being Quoted in a National Publication...it's not really published per say. The Daring Young Mom also blogs for Parenting Magazine. She has been discussing the pros and cons of homeschooling on her personal blog. I got in on the discussion and got an email from the Daring One this week asking if she could quote me. Here it is if you'd like to check it out. I am embarrassingly excited about it...feel like a big dork, but cannot help myself!
In the above fabulously cool basket (wish you could see it better...it reminds me of the Moses Baskets that are so popular) is a pair of Drama Queen socks, fuzzy slippers, lavender Udder Soap, a beautiful little pillow case for a decorative pillow, 2 wonderful winter hats, a mug full of Reece's hearts (yummy!), 2 CD's, a navy blue hoodie, a pale pink shirt with roses on it, a silver peasant blouse, a ME pot holder (Queen of Everything), 2 ME photo frame magnets, a red paper Chinese lantern, a monkey coin purse, the book Wicked (which I have been dying to read), lots of Memoirs of a Geisha inspired perfume, bath and make-up products from the Body Shop (I think), and a wonderfully fluffy purple shawl made by Art! Can I just say that girl ROCKS!!! And this girl is on cloud nine!
At my WIC appointment, my BP was a little low as was my iron. I came home and took my iron pills Doc prescribed (I usually skip them as they cause...well, digestive problems). This might explain my exhaustion lately. Guess I'll stick with the iron pills for a while.

I checked it out and Wow! You ARE famous! It couldn't happen to a nicer FarmWife. And there is a link to your blog so you may make more new friends.
Love the gifts from Art. I can tell it's done a lot to lift your spirits. That's what friends are for!

Farmie dear, just called the "lurkers" and asked what they were doing today. G-ma started out telling me about all the chores she'd done, and I was figuring nothing exciting had happened yet, but then she told me about the knock on the door that came. So, your "lurkers" have their surprise, and it's safe to write about now. I just think that's the best surprise..... love you....
What a great gift basket! Wow.
No, even after I posted, I couldn't comment until I confirmed my e-mail address. It wouldn't have been a big deal if I had access to my e-mail. It just involves the click of a button. But since I couldn't check my e-mail, I couldn't confirm, and couldn't comment.
To get the _folks love me I did this: Once I got the new account I went to Manage Layout. Then there's a Blog Posts box and I clicked Edit. They give you a whole list of customizable items. The date, ______emily (mine says "says", the time, and the number of comments. I just changed "comments" to "folks love me".
I've seen people do this with the old blogger too. I just never knew how. Sorry this is so long!
very cool...very cool. all the way around
Farmie - you sound like an EXPERT on your quote. I'm so proud of you. I think you're on your way to blogger stardom!
