Warning: Too Much Information Contained

I am sick. 100.7 degree temp. Aches & chills & sweats & a decent head ache. Head cold & diarrhea. Oh, and no one slept last night.

I slept from 10:15 until 1:30 and can honestly say, I don't think I've done more than doze off for a few minutes since. Husband was coughing in the living room. BabyGirl joined him (around 2:30 I think) and they sat and argued about whether or not she had to go back to bed on and off for nearly an hour...until I got up and put her in bed after a visit to the bathroom due to diarrhea. Then #1 Son came in (about 3:45) and told me he couldn't sleep because there was a string in his bed. He woke B.B. up in all his coming and going, so I had to go camp out on their floor for 30 minutes. #1 Son never really went back to sleep. After I went back to bed he came in for Kleenexes, he lost his lovey twice, he needed to throw away tissues every 15 minutes, and at some point turned on the kitchen light.

I lay in bed wearing sweat pants, an old sweater, my calf length chenille robe, the comforter and an extra blanked and still froze. I shut up the bed room which makes it a furnace, until Husband came in and opened everything up and laid on top of the covers. I could only sleep on my left side because if I laid on my back or right side, I could feel gas and fluid rushing rather unpleasantly through my intestines due to the weight of the baby on them (not that Baby weighs much)....and then more diarrhea. After laying awake on my side for about 3 hours, my rib cage & back were protesting loudly. After that I knew I'd only be comfortable sleeping setting up in the recliner, but with #1 Son in and out of the kitchen, and me freezing under the mound of blankets on my bed, I knew that was pointless too.

Finally B.B. got up at 6:30 and I emailed my OB to see what I can take...It's really hard to be thankful this morning.
