A night at the Improv

Knock, Knock
Who's there?
Knock, Knock head.
Knock, Knock head who?
Knock, Knock head puppy!!! (laugh maniacally)

B.B. is practicing to be a stand up comedian. Who knew 2 year olds had such a fabulous sense of comedic timing? Here's another of his favorites:

Knock, Knock
Who's there?
'Nana head.
'Nana head who?
'Nana head Mommy! (laugh maniacally again)
(that's 'Nana as in 'Banana'...not as in 'Grandma')

Now B.B. and Husband are boxing in my living room. They're watching Rocky IV and it has stirred up the testosterone levels. B.B. keeps taking a running start and yelling, "I fight you!" (which sounds like "I ite eww") and punching his dad...sort of. Closed fists and locked elbows full speed at Husband's chest. Husband then wraps his legs around B.B. and falls back on the ground lifting the baby up in the air. B.B. is laughing so hard he can't fight, but somehow he keeps winning.

Seems he might be a lover and a fighter.

What a sweet memory this will be.

Yin has started telling knock knock jokes, but she never has a punchline. I think to many episodes of Doodleboops!

I love their jokes at that age. Their reactions to their own jokes is even better than the joke though!!
