Major Improvements on the Funny Farm

B.B. now has antibiotics. My OB called in Claritin and Robitussin for me. I had Claritin already but didn't know I could take it (I think it was a last ditch effort since the Sudafed did nothing), and I do not tolerate Robitussin well. I hesitate to say I'm allergic to it, but it makes me antsy, anxious, and I cannot sleep on it.

I am feeling much better at the moment. Tylenol kicked the sinus headache (that's a first...must be a "God Thing" as Q.M. would say), and the Claritin is beginning to kick in as well. I called Busha this morning and when she asked how I was I could honestly say I didn't want to die. That's a first in a while. I've stripped and washed BabyGirl's sheets and remade her bed. The boys' bedding is in the dryer. I've folded towels. I've eaten oatmeal and pot roast with veggies, and been drinking OJ again. I'm not dizzy or as weak as I've been...I think I can officially state that I am on the mend.

Busha has gone to pick up BabyGirl from School so I don't have to take the boys out. B.B. is sleeping in his sister's bed & #1 Son just woke up from his nap on the floor. I napped in the recliner while Husband watched Meerkat Manor. Then I felt good enough to tackle the gigantic pile of toys taking over the living room. I have to load the dishwasher and then I think I'm done for the day.

Thank you all so much for all your prayers and good wishes. They've meant the world to me this week and I know that's how I've survived it all.

I hope everything keeps improving on your end. Prophet has it now... ugh!!

I've talked to alot of people who have issues with Robitussin. I think it's just that type of med. I can't sleep at all when I take it... I wake up every 10 minutes or so all night long. I gave some to Prophet awhile back at bedtime and the poor kid was awake half the night!!
