- a 3 year old boy can sustain life for extended periods of time ingesting only wheat bread, flour tortillas, apple slices, pretzels, ketchup, and whole milk?
- a jell-o salad will take 15+ hours to set up instead of the normally necessary 4 hours if you have 3 children under the age of 6 in your home?
- throwing away someone else's diaper is a capital offense in Southern Illinois?
- cutting shapes in peanut-butter & jelly sandwiches makes them gourmet marvels?
- farting is the mating call of the Southern Illinois Farm Boy?
- toe nail polish can be just as important to little boys as it is little girls? (That's why I keep blue and green polish on hand at all times.)
- "Don't get out of bed," secretly means, "Get out of bed at least 6 times before you give up," in 5 year old speak?
- a little venison roast is worth sitting in a tree for 4 hours in the freezing cold?
- Grace's Prophet and my B.B. share the same first name?
- 79 year old women like to play Wii? (Yup, Grandma M&M.)
- any food give to a 2 year old is fair game to anything on 4 legs?
- answering a phone call is the best way to get the attention of your children who've ignored you for the past 3 hours?

Did you know that:

Yes, actually I did know most of that. I once had three children 5 and under, but they're growin' up on me. Personally that sounds like a fairly healthy list of food to sustain one's self on. The only things I did not know about are the "southern Illinois" things, having never personally lived there, but I will take your word for it. I've always thought it quite interesting that we never knew another child with Prophet's name until you named your B.B. that, but yet Inkling has two of them in her life. Strange. Ilove your list, it great.
Another similarity between us...we both have two boys and one girl..although your girl's the oldest and mine's the youngest, making for very different dynamics.
What's the diaper deal? You can throw some else's diaper away or no one will throw a diaper away???
Loved the mating call. It must be the call of boys from Kentucy also!
