It's done! It's 11:22 pm, and I've just finished putting up the Christmas decorations. I feel accomplished! I didn't start until after the little ones were all in bed (to prevent a long round of "don't touch that!!!"). Now I just have to buy presents!
That really isn't a big thing at our house though. We buy for our kids...and that's about it. I'll get something for H.T., but we don't really buy for brothers and sisters & we quit buying for nieces and nephews on Husband's side last year because his brother was laid off. Sometimes it bothers me...I'd love to buy for all my loved ones. There are things that scream "get me for so & so" while I'm shopping, but I try and resist. With 3 kids & 1 income, we have to be careful. We sent Q.M. home with her Christmas present yesterday...it was a diaper box full of frozen pork. She loved it!
I can't wait until the kids wake up in the morning to find the tree! B.B. will be so excited! Lilly was a tad freaked out while the tree was going up, but she quickly lost interest once the lights were up.
It's WAY past my bed time. G'nite.
