- I am thankful for modern medicine especially OB/GYN's, ultra-sounds, c-sections (even though I'd rather not have one), epidurals, antibiotics, allergy medicine (even though I can't take it right now), etc.
- I am thankful for the telephone. When most of my family and my best friend live half a day's drive away (not including Inkling in Canada) and I'm not big on waiting to hear all the news by mail, the phone may very well be my best friend.
- I am thanful we bought a mid-sized van when we only had 2 kids...now I don't have to worry about how to cram all these car seats into a Saturn station wagon.
- I am thankful for Buzz Lightyear and Cowboy Woody. They guarantee me at least a shower with out a major meltdown.
- I've been watching the PBS series 1900's House and Frontier House on DVD this week. Therefore I am thankful for my gas stove, my furnace, insulation, toilet paper, indoor plumbing, and Wal-Mart.
- I'm thankful for the long drive to Grandma M&M's for Thanksgiving yesterday with my brother. It gave me 6 hours (3 there, 3 back) to spend talking to Bubba and getting caught up with his life.
- I'm thankful for the new relationship my sister and I are developing since the birth of H.T. (And I'm thankful H.T. is getting to be quite the little porker according to his Grammy.)
- I'm thankful for my Grandparents and the heritage of faith they've given me. At 30 years old I know I'm extremly fortunate to have all of my grandparents not only living, but still married to their original spouses. That's not something you see much of these days. Grandma and Grandpa M&M will celebrate their 60th anniversary this summer. Buck and Busha are only 2 years behind them.
- I'm thankful that in 4 days I'll celebrate 9 years of wedded bliss with Husband. 9 years is a long time...until you think about 60 years...and then it's just a start. I'm thankful for the hard times we've had because they've made the good times so much sweeter. I'm thankful that the good times are more frequent than the hard times. I'm thankful that my husband works hard to take care of us and allow me to stay home and raise our kids (even though it isn't easy). I'm thankful that he works hard to take care of our land and animals. I'm thankful that we still love each other even though we've both changed so much over the course of the last 9 years.
- I'm thankful for my babies. All 4 (or maybe 5) of them. I'm thankful for their health, their energy (if only I could bottle it), their imaginations, their curiosity, their stubborness, their humor, and their unconditional love. They wear me out on a daily basis. I loose my temper with them on a daily basis. They are a blessing from God on a daily basis. I cannot wait to meet the newest one(s). I cannot wait for Baby Girl, #1 Son, and B.B. to meet their newest sibling(s).
- Lastly and most importantly, I am thankful for this:
My sin, O, the bliss of this glorious thought,
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

Are you going on Baby Girl's predictions for the use of plural(s), or do you know something we don't? ;)
I second Needlefingers question.
I guess I really should have explained that better. Due to my uterus being larger than it should, there is a chance that I'm carrying twins.
It's another post in its self, but after much thought about that issue and others we've decided to go back to my old doctor. He's worth the trip and he'll take my concerns about the possibility of twins much more seriously.
I'm thankful for you and each and everything else you listed.
I'm very thankful for Farm Boy and he's love for you. Even as your lives have changed over the past five years and much of your time taken away from the two of you. The love and concern that you have for one another is still there for the world to see.
Totally inspiring! I'm so glad to be reading your posts again!
