Yesterday was my first doctor's appointment. I was pleased with him. Loved his nurse...she kept bringing B.B. toys and food and bribes to keep him happy. He was very disturbed because his mother took off her clothes in a strange place. "Mommy, Clothes On Now!!!" He screamed and cried until Husband had to take him to walk the halls. Probably a good thing because he'd have had a nervous break down during my exam.
Doctor said my uterus measured 8-9 weeks...I'm only 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. Not normally something to be concerend about except for the fact that I always measure a week or two behind in my pregnancies...Hmmmm.
Oh, and this will also be a c-section. I'm not happy, but they're seriously discouraging VBAC's now due to the rare, but real chance of uterine rupture. Does not sound fun...and it will be kind of nice to know exactly when baby will be here. Especially since Little BIL is going to try to take leave and fly home for the birth.
I'm excited and antsy for my next appointment. A month is a long time to wait!
BTW, My Avatar may look very pregnant, but I do not...yet!

Does this mean you get to have twins? Just wondering.....Either that, or you're having Larry Boy.
I'll call so we can chat when I'm back to having a voice and throat that works.
So glad you had a good visit! Hope you are feeling well.
I don't know, but I think Bob and Larry make lovely names for twins!! Personally I think I'd do a little more research before settling on a c-section. Get ahold of my mom at suelathedoula@sbcglobal.net (I think that's right, I'll check and get back to you if it's not), she'd be more than happy to talk to you or point you in the right direction to find info! Was your incision up and down or across? That makes a difference in whether or not they'll allow a VBAC.
By the way, in case you have no idea who this is, it's Inkling's "Best Friend"! Been awhile hasn't it!! My mother would definitely remember you if you emailed her!!!
hi deary saw you checked my blog.....please have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
