Today my son is a man. OK...only if you consider 3 a man. I do. He's potty trained. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to find out I've shared that with you. He keeps singing Happy Birthday to himself. "Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday to me. Happy Birthday Dear Me. Happy Birthday me."
We're getting ready to head out to Inkling's wedding this weekend. I'm nervous. Hotels...hours from home...driving in the city...keeping my kids confined for 2 days...But it's all for a worthy cause. :) I'm also excited about finally meeting Henry David. I can't believe it's this weekend!
Since my birthday was Wednesday, and being a milestone, I was supposed to renew my license. I forgot...realized it Saturday. Now I'm panicked. I'm terrified of having to take the driving test...you see, Farm Wife does not parallel park. Not even a little. Keep your fingers crossed that they will just let it slide. Now I have to get over the idea of taking a new photo. I really like the one on there now...it's the only good one I've ever had. Oh well.

I didn't think they ever made you re-take the test unless your license got revoked. And I also think you get a choice on the picture thing. DH did when he turned 30 and had to renew. He kept his old one. Of course this all may vary state to state, but I'm hoping I'm giving you some sort of comfort anyway :P
Congrats to #1 son on becoming a "man".
Have a blast at the wedding!!!
Farmwife, don't be nervous.....we picked the place and the activities largely in part to keep your little ones occupied and imagining that they are in playtime-heaven
I think you've got a "grace" period on the license. I'd hate to have to take that test again. I barely passed it the first time. I have never parallel parked since then, and don't intend to ever try. I know my limitations!
We're depending on you to tell us about the wedding, since I know Inkling will be a little busy.
Have a wonderful time....
Have a good weekend.
