Thank You and Guess What

I have to thank you for all the encouragement today. If you want to go back and read this post you can see where the whole thing started. It really isn't the girls ganging up on my Baby Girl, so much as it is excluding one girl every so often. Yesterday was Baby Girl's day to be left out and since there were other issues that didn't involve the other girls, it just compounded the problem.

I talked to Ms.G (the WONDERFUL teacher) this afternoon about both issues and she said she wondered if something had happened because Baby Girl came and sat by her on the playground. When she asked Baby Girl if something was wrong, Baby Girl said no and ran off to play. Ms.G assured me she would keep a close eye on the girls and be sure they were playing nicely together. If not, they're all in for another talk from her (which usually nips the problem in the bud fairly quickly). I'm grateful for a teacher who really loves her kids and is concerned about not only their behavior, but their feelings. Not to mention, Baby Girl adores her!

On a much happier note, an EVENT is being conceived this weekend. One that involves this Farm Wife getting to meet a few of my "virtual" buddies. Since there is a family connection between a certain Ragged blogger (whom I've never met) and a certain knitting obsessed blogger (whom I've known for years and can be held partially responsible for introducing me to the wide world of blogging) the occupants of Chez Ragged will be in my neighborhood this weekend. Needlefingers is trying to arrange a little get together.

No only that, but I got a phone call that made my day. "Hi, Farm Wife? This is Brando." Yeah! She is also kin to the clan of Pilot, Needlefingers, and Ragged...just to name a few. We had a good talk about kids, adoption, farms, bullies, and the fact that it is a small world after all. She is part of the conspiracy that is taking place for this weekend.

Here's hoping schedules can be arranged and the weather will cooperate!

P.S. Baby Girl gave my Avatar it's newest make over. She's like Barbie only better!
