Uncle E. just came by and took Baby Girl and #1 Son to his house to play. B.B. is sleeping and the pups are settled nicely. Why am I not cleaning? Because that might wake someone!
OK, Inkling started this, so now I’m obligated to pass it on. Not that I really mind. It’s interesting.
4 jobs I’ve had
1. Babysitter to J.S. and J.G. That was my first paying gig. I was 12.
2. Cater Waitress for my high school boyfriend’s mother’s catering business. We got to eat all the leftovers and she could cook! We did the dishes in her kitchen and danced to R.E.M.
3. Waitress at a steak house in Tennessee. I also worked as a hostess, plate runner (that’s the person who makes sure all the right food goes to the right table and your kale is properly placed on your plate), and a cook. The boss was a CONTROL FREAK but it was a pretty good experience in all.
4. Factory work. That’s where I was working when I met Husband and where I worked until the night before Baby Girl was born. Hot, Dirty, Unpleasant. Poor Husband is still plugging away there. I love him for it.
4 goals I’ve set for the year
1. To housebreak these dogs without breaking myself.
2. To be a better mother (less screaming, more cookie baking).
3. To be a better wife (I can’t even scratch the surface on this one).
4. To not be so scared of the chickens!
4 movies I could watch over and over again
1. The Princess Bride
2. Gone With the Wind
3. The Women
4. Pride and Prejudice (any and all versions)
4 places I’ve lived (for the sake of privacy, and so Husband doesn’t freak out, I’ll not be specific)
Just so you know, I lived in all these places in the first 6 months of my life.
1. Married Student housing at the college my parents attended (so did I later in life, as well as Inkling, J.S., J.G., and a cousin from the other side of my family, J.J.)
2. The trailer. It had roaches and my mom found one in her bed. The next thing she said was, “The first time I find a roach on that baby, I’m taking her and going to live with my mother!” So we moved again.
3. The Gingerbread house. It was down the road from Grandma and Grandpa that have M&M’s house. I think we took the roaches with us.
4. Kentucky Street. We lived there until I was 11. Mom brought everything in one box at a time and cleaned it all so the roach problem would end. It worked!
4 T.V. Shows I love to watch
1. CSI: Crime Scene Investigators (the other 2 are OK in a pinch).
2. What Not To Wear on TLC
3. Miami Ink on TLC
4. Rollergirls on A&E
4 favorite vacation spots
1. Fall Creek Falls, TN
2. Brown County State Park, IN
3. I loved Disney World when I was a kid.
4. Nashville, TN (I haven’t done much traveling…Sadly)
4 Web sites I visit
1. Any listed on my blog. I visit most of them daily.
2. http://www.snopes.com/ It’s a great place to check out urban myths and those e-mails promising you money.
3. http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/ . You can click to help fund mammograms.
4. http://www.dayspring.com/ I love to send their e-cards.
4 Favorite foods
1. Pizza, the best is Papa John’s but we don’t have one near here. I also love pizza from Casey’s (it’s sad when a gas station has the best pizza around).
2. Chocolate. It may be cliché, but I love it.
3. Italian beef…mmm, good!
4. Croutons. All by themselves. Of course then my breath smells like an old gym sock.
4 places I’d rather be right now
1. Sitting at Waffle House with Art and Did eating a pecan waffle and drinking bad coffee.
2. Somewhere warm.
3. At Mama and Daddy’s visiting with Princess and Bubba.
4. At the movies. Watching something that is not animated.
I Tag you
1. Art the Omnipotent
2. Did
3. Cate
4. Ragged Around the Edges
5. And anyone else who wants to be tagged! (Zann, Halleyville, Emily, Pilot…I could go on and on, but I think this is cheating!)
Hope you all enjoyed it. I’m going to go enjoy my little bit of peace and quiet and maybe eat a grilled cheese sandwich!

Fun stuff! Y'know, we don't have Waffle House here in Michigan.... I've never been there. I wanted to go while on a business trip to Arkansas, but no one would go with me. Sadly, I've never had the Waffle House experience.
Casey's Pizza is my favorite. I have 10 of the box tabs in the drawer right next to me waiting to be bring me home a freebie!
Years ago when we were first married, hubby was a Casey's pizza maker for the summer. Many a night he'd bring home the leftovers. We'd eat that and watch the one and only video in our collection, 101 Dalmations. Ahhh... memories.
The Gingerbread house came with its own roaches. Daddy thought he had killed them all before we moved in but they are hard to kill off.
I like jelly's picture. She has a cute crooked smile.
Thanks for playing along with me. If my brother blogged, I would even have let him play with us. See how we've matured?..... love you....
I'm tagged, will post it after the morning chores.
