Do I really need 21 e-mails?

This is what I get for not logging on until 9:30 at night. I have 21 e-mails and they are taking hours to download. Half I'm sure are junk. Two-thirds of the rest are forewords with numerous pictures. We (being internet novices) have dial-up. And not just any old dial-up... we get a whole 16.8 Kbps 90% of the time. On the rare occasion we get 24 we dance around the house and open a bottle of wine! OK, so maybe not, but we do get pretty excited. Once I got 40 and I nearly passed out.

Now I'm just typing to pass the time while these load. I could write about our day, but I don't feel like it. Maybe tomorrow I'll tell you we got another guinea pig. But not tonight. Sorry.

Instead I'm going to share some of my favorite words with you.
onomatopoeia- n. the formation of a word, as cuckoo or boom, by imitation of a sound...
tintinnabulation- n. the ringing sound of bells.
vituperative- adj. given to, characterized by, or of the nature of verbal abuse.
plethora- n. excess
Feel free to share your favorites.

I love "onomatopoeia" - I learned it in preparation for a spelling bee in 7th grade. I also like: confabulate, penumbra, and flibbertigibbet (though I'm sure I spelled the last one wrong).
