That's what I have today. A huge case of the Blahs. Actually, I'm just PMSing & slightly evil....OK, so maybe "slightly" isn't the right word...in fact I think I need to discuss my issues with my OB-GYN when I go for my yearly check up next week. It tends to make for a craptastick Mother's Day when you're tempted to sell your children to the highest bidder.
The day started with arguing & screaming, was nice for a few minutes while the FarmHands gave me the gifts they made for me at school (a baby food jar/candle holder from BabyGirl & a flower magnet with #1 Son's picture in it), then proceeded to go to pot again & stay there the rest of the week. Currently things are peaceful because they're watching Dr.Seusse cartoons & Bitsy is out cold on the couch....but the day isn't over yet.
But there's a light at the end of the tunnel. One week from today is my birthday & there is a chance that Art will come see me. The plans are not firm. They are by no means certain. QM & Daddy have to bring Uncle Gick's truck back up to him & Art may hitch a ride. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I fear it may be too late. Seeing Mama & Daddy will be wonderful....seeing Art would be the butter cream frosting roses on the cake!

hope your birthday wish comes true..
and as far as the arguing goes..it get's no better when they get older.
I hope all your visitors can make it.
Mother's Day should be the day when someone comes by to take your children out for the day. Then you could lay on the couch, drink wine, read, eat chocolate, and nap. Now that would be a good Mother's Day!
