So Husband gets out of bed this morning, makes it as far as the recliner, and sits back down. It's his job to take the FarmHands to school in the morning so I briefly wondered why he didn't have on his jeans or have his t-shirt in his hands. I went on with the task of getting a gripey girl ready to leave & ignored him. A few minutes later I realized I needed milk from the little store near the school. I told Husband & he didn't respond. Normally he'd suggest I take the kids to school or he'd volunteer to get the milk. Today, nothing.
A few minutes later I was putting a romper on Bitsy in the girls' room when I heard Husband's voice from the bathroom. "I think I'm passing a kidney stone. Do we have any lemon juice?" Oh joy. I mixed up a glass of very strong lemonade (a remedy his uncle swears by) & grabbed 2 Aleve for him. When he limped back to the kitchen I said I'd take the kids to school & he asked if I'd take Bitsy too so he wouldn't have to watch her.
He's in bed now dosed with Aleve & hydrocodone left over from his last bout with kidney stones. Hopefully this one will pass soon.

Yikes! Praying that he'll be an easy patient for you, and that it'll pass soon!
My brother was having them a lot, and now has it under control by changing what he eats and drinks...I'll talk to him if you want...
