But I have:
- read the last chapter of Twilight (again) at 5:30 this morning when my children woke me up
- scrubbed Husband's bathroom (ick)
- supervised (fixed breakfast, ushered them through the rest of their tasks, enforced the "no killing your siblings" rule) the older kids getting ready for school
- cleaned the clutter off the counter tops
- gathered up & took out all the trash
- french braided BabyGirl's hair for school
- ironed BabyGirl's shirt
- washed all the dishes (one load in the dish washer, two sink fulls by hand)
- stripped all the beds
- washed all the sheets
- made all the beds (can I just add that making bunk beds should totally count as a half hour of cardio?)
- washed a load of towels
- read the first chapter of New Moon (it's in the back of my copy of Twilight & I'm dying to read the entire thing!)
- folded & put away 2 loads of clothes, 2 loads of towels, and a load of sheets
- vacuumed all the carpets in the house
- made biscuits & gravy for lunch
- scrubbed the master bath
- wiped Bitsy's allergy runny nose about 1,700 times
- made a pitcher of tea
Now I'm done. Well, for now. The kitchen floor needs to be swept & mopped, but I'm not sure I'll get all that done tonight. I know I have to sweep it, but the mopping may wait until after the weekend.
I do not want to come home to a trashed house tomorrow night. There's something about leaving (even if only for the day) that makes me desperate to have the house cleaned up first.
Now I can focus on getting all the junk ready we'll need to make a day trip to Grandma M&M's.

I finally figured out why I want the house clean when I'm leaving for some period of time...If, by chance, I don't return, I don't want anyone thinking that I was so sloppy!
Sent some energy my way...I can keep up!
Wow... How on earth do you get all that stuff done? Even if I try, one of the kiddos pulls me away...
