- I am extremely fascinated by Rube Goldberg devices....you know, like the game mouse trap. There was a bit on Sesame Street when I was little, with a very elaborate machine. I could watch it for hours at a time. They still captivate me.
- Along the same lines, dominoes set up to topple capture my attention too. I think there's a very elaborate set up in the movie V for Vendetta. I know there is in the movie Robots (even if it's only animated). For these two reasons alone it's a good thing we don't have a high speed Internet connection. I'd never find my way out of YouTube.
- When I'm worried I have one of two reactions. I either cannot sit still & end up cleaning everything in my house, this is a good reaction, or I go in the complete opposite direction. I stay in my pajamas all day. I lay on the couch watching entire seasons of NCIS on DVD. I eat my own weight in Chex Mix, Ben & Jerry's, and Bavarian filled donuts. This is not a good reaction. It's the one I'm having now. I wonder if I can flip from one reaction to the other at will? Let's see....um...nope.
- I was on Good Morning America in fourth or fifth grade. Before you get extremely excited I was in a crowd of probably 200 or more grade schoolers standing in a parking lot screaming, "Good Morning America!" at the beginning of the show.
- I saw Dan Quayle speak when he was running for VP in 1988. Again, I was in a giant crowd of students at the local civic center. You know, when you see those huge crowds of people at political fundraisers, some of them may be middle school students bussed in to fill empty seats.
- I hate driving down gravel roads. They frighten me. I live on one.
- When I go home to visit QM & Daddy I develop a southern accent. I didn't really have a southern accent until I started waiting tables when I was 19. I picked one up very quickly! "Hey! How y'all doin' tonight? Can I get you something to drink?"
- I have no furniture in my house that I picked out. It was all given to me or came with Husband when I picked him out. We had a coffee table that we picked out together, but we gave it to Big BIL when BabyGirl was learning to walk so she wouldn't brain herself on it.
- All of our children have Biblical first names & family middle names. It wasn't planned that way, but by the time B.B. arrived it was a pattern had developed. I'm very happy with their names....even if they're petitioning to have them legally changed to Indiana Jones movie titles.
- I cannot make biscuits. Pillsbury is my best friend in this department.
- I do not know my times tables. Sad, I know. I fear next year when BabyGirl has to start learning them. I will be of little to no help.
- My Grandmother's middle name is Olive. When I was growing up I thought she was Olive Oyl from the Popeye cartoons. I also have uncles named Ronald & Donald. When I was little I thought my Uncle Ron's name was Ronald McDonald.
- The movie Pinocchio terrified me when I was a kid. To this day it give me the creeps.

I couldn't live without my high speed internet! I get incredible slow computer rage that far surpasses my road rage.
But, I'm with you on the worried cleaning or worried sluggishness. It depends on who's causing my stress.
I hate driving down gravel roads too. Even more so, since I own my own car. But I only have to drive on them when I visit my aunt and uncle (which is rarely).
My husband picks up the southern accent and it makes me want to smack him. He was born and raised in the St. Louis area...
Maybw you CAN learn the times tabels with your child.
The Sesame Street segments with the ball bearings rolling on tracks that ended up with cherries deposited on sundaes? I LOVED that. There was another one with powdered candy at the end, I think, but the sundaes were the best. :)
Just for you one day this week I'm going to visit youtube for you and find a good domino vid!! :o)
