So far, so good

I feel human today. I don't want to be put out of my misery anylonger. A full night sleep helped immensely. It was the first time I'd really slept in 3 days.

Husband, on the other hand, may be calling Dr.Kevorkian later this afternoon. He was feeling a bit icky yesterday before work, but still had to go in & work 9 hours. I emailed him half way through the night & he said he'd eaten 8 crackers & was sipping on Sprite but was planning on skipping lunch. He took a vacation day for today (they don't get sick days...well, they can call in sick, but don't get paid). I'm glad. I hate the thought of him being at work feeling the way I did yesterday.

#1 Son threw up once in the night, but this morning everyone's feeling good enough to eat Cheerios for breakfast. I may even eat something besides wheat club crackers today.

I kept the kids home from school again because they'd be too weak to deal with a full day. They were all running fevers last night so I called in to the school then. We may very well spend a second day watching videos & lounging around the living room...and yes, Kork, I am glad to be coping with this at home & not in a hotel room somewhere. I don't think a hotel bathroom could accommodate 6 sick people at once!

So glad you're starting to feel better! Want a recommendation for a movie? Plop in Swiss Family Robinson. My boys were astounded! Who knew that they could all be so entertained, and I could relive my early pre-teen fantasies of being rescued by someone like Fritz. **sigh**

OH!!!! I love that movie so much!

And you know what? It's amazing how tight it is to fit myself into that blankity-blank bathroom...

OY!
